Understanding the Solver Options

This page describes the options available in the Solver Options dialog. Bear in mind that the options which control numerical tolerances and solution strategies are pre-set to the choices which are applicable to the great majority of problems; you should only change these settings in exceptional circumstances. The options you will use most often control features like the display of iteration results or the upper limits on solution time or Solver iterations.
